Your mobile phone has become your premier source of technology - think how many times you use it for phone calls, messaging, directions and looking up news.  It's something that almost everyone has and everyone uses on a daily basis so why not take your training to the next level?  Implement mobile learning (mLearning) as part of your training program.

This event touches base on the core elements of mLearning - the design, challenges, trends and issues with creating and implementing a mLearning environment.  Special guest Nancy Munro will be assisting with all hands-on exercises during our group break out session.

Please bring your mobile device with you; we will be doing interactive exercises.

mLearning is: Any sort of learning that happens when the learner is not at a fixed, predetermined location, or learning that happens when the learner takes advantage of the learning opportunities offered by mobile.

The term covers: learning with portable technologies including but not limited to handheld computers, MP3 players, notebooks and mobile phones. mLearning focuses on the mobility of the learner, interacting with portable technologies, and learning that reflects a focus on how society and its institutions can accommodate and support an increasingly mobile population.
